School days
As Mark Twain said, “I never let my schooling get in the way of my education.” I'm a lifelong learner, believe in staying curious, and have obtained the following two degrees:
BA in International Studies (The University of Arizona)
MSc in Wildlife, Biodiversity, and Ecosystem Health (The University of Edinburgh)
Peaks Foundation
I co-founded the Peaks Foundation, an initiative that successfully generated more than $1.1 million in support of projects benefiting girls, women, health, and the environment across diverse global communities. Our approach involved innovative fundraising through mountain climbing events, joined by 373 women worldwide. We effectively shared 26 expeditions through blogs, a website, and internationally-showcased films.
Living abroad
I lived and worked in Tanzania for ten years and managed over 15 projects across five countries. My role with the Frankfurt Zoological Society involved collaborating with researchers, media representatives, government officials, marketing teams, and other key stakeholders. I helped capture our stories through videography, blogs, annual reports, news articles, and photography with a strong emphasis on human-centered storytelling.
New heights
In recent years, I’ve led diverse roles, including serving as an Adjunct Professor of Environmental Science and managing marketing and communications projects within one of Microsoft's internal venture studios. With Microsoft, I led internal & external communications through newsletter creation, podcast production, videography, event management, and contests. I managed websites, rebranding, naming, and community engagement.

I have worked on large productions that have been showcased at international film festivals, smaller productions like instructional videos and demos all with scriptwriting, storyline editing, and creative directing. I appreciate a well-organized library of photography and visuals that can make a story come to life.

Unfortunately, I don’t have one, but I am an expert at finding them and have experience writing and producing podcast episodes as well as narrative storytelling.

Mountains Will Move (Trailer)
Mountains Will Move highlights an event I co-created and a film I co-produced. The story follows an incredible undertaking by a group of teenage girls, half from Tanzania and the other half from Australia. Together, they set off to tackle Tanzania’s second highest peak.
